The OSCAR8 is a premium, angled eyepiece 27–55x80 mm spotting scope that features an HDX Advanced optical system comprising both High Definition (ED) and High Transmittance (HT) glass for ultra-high resolution, optical performance, and light transmission. This scope incorporates a SCHMIDT-PECHAN prism, combined with HD glass, which provides unmatched chromatic and spherical aberration correction for clear, vibrant images. Adjustable eyecups allow the user to optimize eye relief for use with or without glasses.

Spectracoat's highly efficient, ultra-wide broadband, anti-reflection lens coatings reduce surface reflections, while LensArmor abrasion-resistant lens coatings provide extreme durability, ensuring the lenses on the OSCAR8 spotting scope will stay sharp, bright, and clear. Waterproof and fog proof, the OSCAR8 will provide unmatched performance in all environmental conditions. The lightweight and robust aircraft-grade aluminum housing, combined with a rubberized non-slip grip armor, ensures a lifetime of use in the worst conditions.

The angled eyepiece, combined with a rotating tripod collar, provides multiple viewing angles to accommodate setup and usage in any terrain. The OSCAR8 comes equipped with a variable power eyepiece that can be locked into place or removed. A custom SIG SAUER fitted neoprene cover is also included.
